Through the rain with crystal drops I see my reflections in your spirit And angels always make us clash With beauty that we are receiving But my love is so deep Seven thousand oceans under my feet My love is so wide All the universe is on our side I was just looking and searching for truth When you came around and you called me aloof Slightly naive and at times complicated But I don't believe this could every be faded Perfect connection of body and soul You are my love, you are my all In your arms I get lost forever Nothing on Earth can ever be better Living in this world such an empty place But nothing can shatter our grace Nothing can destroy the divine protection That you and I shine through our affection Have no doubt Jah's always around You say all the right things So never be down Beautiful catcher of beautiful dreams Indigo Oracle Butterfly King My love is so deep Seven thousand oceans under my feet My love is so wide All the Universe is on our side

Arise ye pris’ners of surveillance Arise phone callers of the earth For Google swipes your information Of privacy there is a dearth No more the NSA shall bind us Arise ye slaves of the purloined call Our metadata’s their foundation We have been bought, now we’re in thrall By the spies we have been tricked Every call falls to these thieves The international snooping class A web through wi-fi weaves ‘Tis the time to encrypt Close the book on their face Their international cache of calls Our hackers shall erase

Everything went black They raged and they attacked Opened wounds and poured the salt Said that everything's my fault Know what it's like to stand alone To hate the skin I'm in But your eyes made me at home Now I made the mess I'm in Now I'm walking down the streets of New York With the holes in my shoes protruding Theres another lonely soul on a lamp post Making a dime off the new self-soothing Self-help speakers on every corner Tryin' to tell me how to live my life They all seem to talk their heads off But never stop to listen to mine Everything went black They raged and they attacked Opened wounds and poured the salt Said that everything's my fault Know what it's like to stand alone To hate the skin I'm in But your eyes made me at home Now I made the mess I'm in Now I'm sitting at a Manhattan cafe With the regulars down the block Not a lot of ears to listen, still But sure enough mouths to talk I'm looking for some answers On the backs of people's shoes I've got so little to gain But yet so much of me to lose Everything went black They raged and they attacked Opened wounds and poured the salt Said that everything's my fault Know what it's like to stand alone To hate the skin I'm in But your eyes made me at home Now I made the mess I'm in Everything went black They raged and they attacked Opened wounds and poured the salt Said that everything's my fault Know what it's like to stand alone To hate the skin I'm in But your eyes made me at home Now I made the mess I'm in

the halls of cities always seem indomitable they frighten quiet bludgeon form create all: kids to adults they stole our labor i'll be pissing in my pants poor and old and they won't be held responsible they bombed the sewage, bridges, electric, hospitals and the damns they wrecked some more shit just cause they wanted it on video they killed the innocent, made capital, had dinner at ten and they won't be held responsible i'm white enough to know you get what you deserve, or don't get i can't perceive suspicions that my brothers all travel in their pockets empty, mine are stuffed with winks and good contraband and who'll be held responsible? they ruined families, savings, cities, people, animals, homes they bet against themselves and double-crossed their own clientele they got a trillion dollar handout, then came looking for more and they won't be held responsible they've got my calls and letters recorded since i was born sometimes i say 'hello' or write them but they never write back they've got all kinds of ways to make you think you're the only one and they won't be held responsible they've got all kinds of ways to make you drink the alcohol and i won't be the only one they've got all kinds of ways to make you think you're the only one and i won't be the only one

about

This album was inspired by the Edward Snowden leaks. It features 14 artists, 12 Brooklyn-based. We figured the NSA was listening to our songs' progress along the way - or at least could be listening, and why wouldn't they with songs like these? - and so every day was a listening party for them. To all our conversations, communications, locations, gyrations and good vibrations. If they wanted something to listen to, all they had to do was ask! Sing with us, dance with us, laugh and cry and wonder why with us. Hey Kids, what do you say? We don't want to live - in a surveillance state.
